Instructor Evaluation Resources

Instructor evaluation takes many forms. Some schools use a formal process, involving their Director of Education, rubrics, checklists, and classroom observations, while others ask peers to provide informal feedback to one another. Many schools use a combination of methods, including student assessment on teaching effectiveness and instructor self-evaluation. Ideally, the findings from these evaluations are used to provide information to teachers to guide their professional development and help them set goals to improve their teaching.
