The new ABMP CE course, “Stretching the Hip,” is available in the ABMP Education Center to view and earn 1.5 CE hours.
Learn to stretch the hip muscles—flexors, adductors, abductors, extensors, and lateral rotators—using multiple techniques with the client in the supine, prone, and sidelying positions. This comprehensive course from Dr. Joe Muscolino teaches 12 stretching positions to target specific muscles in five lines of stretching: anterior, medial, lateral, posterior vertical, and posterior horizontal. Stretching techniques include contract relax (CR), also known as post-isometic relaxation (PIR) or proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF).
This course pairs with another new ABMP CE course from Dr. Muscolino, “Palpating the Hip Flexors.”
