Renewal: no CEU requirement/1 year
A bill has been introduced in Maine, HB 0255, that would define licensed massage therapists as health care practitioners.
We are pleased to report that the Maine massage therapy and aesthetics deregulation bill introduced this year, LD1036/SP342, has died in the state legislature.
The Maine Office of Licensing and Registration is now accepting the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx) offered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB: www.fsmtb.org) as a qualification for licensure. |
